fabric spotlight: fresh modern August 23 2017

Fresh modern.  A bright happy palette!  Fun lively patterns! That's what we were looking for... and we found them. Our modern fabric offerings result in a finished quilt that will add a splash of color to a neutral themed nursery or mix and match with a more lively decor.

Fresh Modern Pink Mini-Cord

This beautiful mini corduroy cotton made by Robert Kaufman feels like velvet to the touch. We love the Scandinavian influence of this floral print and the bright colors make it modern. The vivid colors of deep and light pink, turquoise, and green, make it a great choice for a little girls room.

The quilt pictured above was made using our Viintage 32 image collection kit. It was the perfect pairing for a surprise gift from a group of crafty co-workers! Each friend embroidered a square which resulted in this beautiful quilt that they presented to the mother-to-be.

Fresh Modern Turquoise Tiles

This was a perfect find with its modern geometric print. The happy combination of colors in this tile motif: turquoise, olive green and a pop of orange is well suited for modern baby decor. A good unisex choice and fun to embroider with all of these colors!

This crisp cotton with a hint of stretch gives it a smooth and soft feel. The versatile blend is easy care and will take what baby dishes out..

As you can see, the bugs are paired with turquoise tiles, but of course any of our image collections will work!
