fabric spotlight: classic August 23 2017

Classic means never going out of style. Quiet soothing tones never go out of favor. And now with neutrals being so popular in nursery decor, our  classic fabrics pair well with what is trending.

Classic Periwinkle Lawn

This one is truly timeless. With an eye to the resurgence of soft pastels in baby's rooms this cotton lawn pairs well with grays and creams creating a calm and peaceful feeling... stylish but not too "grown up".

The floral design in a periwinkle hue is reminiscent of classic French baby decor. We often choose cotton lawns because they are lightweight and soft, but surprisingly durable for something that feels so delicate... perfect for your heirloom quilt.

Classic Grey Chambray

We found a big roll of this soft grey cotton chambray and fell in love with it. It's classic, but has a crisp modern feel as well. The small geometric dot motif woven with white thread adds a little fun and makes it perfect for a baby boy or girl. It's also a great choice if you are wanting to make a unisex quilt.
